Outbound Sales & Outreach Coordinator
Adventure Theatre MTC is seeking an energetic, professional, outgoing, organized and detail-oriented individual to become a part of its growing team committed to memorable theatrical experiences for youth. As Outbound Sales & Outreach Coordinator, this enthusiastic team player will lead sales and outreach efforts for the following: Group Tickets, Rentals, Merchandise and Program Advertisements. In addition, this position will spearhead the planning for all marketing events/local festivals, participate and engage in networking events in the DC region, and form some community partnerships as required. Candidate will be required to perform all the necessary administrative and coordination tasks surrounding their sales and budget. Position requires the ability to establish and maintain long-term positive relationships with clients. Additional marketing and research duties for the organization as necessary. The ideal candidate will be an excellent person-to-person communicator and fearless with engaging teachers, business owners, PTA’s as well as patrons. This position requires sales experience, reliable transportation, the ability to work independently as well as in a team, and have a dedication to theatre. Some weekend and evening work required.  Compensation commensurate with experience. Eligible for group medical plan and PTO benefits. INSTITUTIONAL GIVING MANAGER
Adventure Theatre MTC seeks detail-oriented, motivated fundraiser with exemplary communications skills and a passion for children and theater to join its Development team as Institutional Giving Manager. The Institutional Giving Manager will have primary responsibility for raising funds from foundation, corporate and government sources and will work alongside the Individual Giving Manager to secure contributed resources so that Adventure Theatre MTC can sustain and grow. Qualified candidates have experience in grant writing, superior communication and interpersonal skills, and are highly motivated, energetic, and able to work independently. INDIVIDUAL GIVING MANAGER

The Individual Giving Manager will have primary responsibility for leading the organization's annual giving efforts, implementing fundraising plans for sustaining and growing the number of annual donors, the size of individual donations, and converting annual donors to major donors, and supporting major giving and special events. AFTER- SCHOOL ELEMENTARY THEATER INSTRUCTORS NEEDED:

ATMTC Academy is seeking capable after-school elementary theater educators to teach creative drama class sections for children in grades K-5. Qualified candidates must have at minimum 3 years prior experience with these age groups, (a degree in discipline is preferred),  the ability to create lesson plans, to independently problem solve, to professionally represent ATMTC at satellite locations and have a positive and friendly demeanor. 1099-IC contract. Per class remuneration between $25-$35 based on experience. Six to eight week contracts beginning in April through the end of May 2012.

ATMTC Academy is seeking capable early childhood theater educators to teach creative drama class sections for children ages 2-5 years. Qualified candidates must have at minimum 3 years prior experience with this age group, (a degree in discipline is preferred), the ability to create lesson plans, to independently problem solve, to professionally represent ATMTC, and have a positive friendly demeanor. 1099-IC contract. Per class remuneration between $25-$35 per hour based on experience. Six to eight week contracts beginning in April through the end of May 2012.

ATMTC Academy is seeking capable academic interns and apprentices for the 2012/2013 season. ATMTC programming serves children ages 12 months to 18 years. SUMMER CAMP THEATER INSTRUCTORS NEEDED:

ATMTC Academy is seeking capable musical theater educators (Directors/Assistant Directors/Musical Directors/Choreographers/Production Assistants/Costumers/Scenic Artisans) to direct and lead young thespians in mounting a musical in two weeks time. Camp is geared toward children ages 6-12. Qualified candidates must have prior experience with these age groups, (a degree in discipline is preferred), the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, to independently problem solve, to professionally represent ATMTC, and have a positive friendly demeanor. 1099-IC contract. Per week remuneration $400-$600, by position/assignment.  Two week contracts beginning in June through the end of August 2013.

ATMTC Academy is seeking highly qualified professionals to teach classes including all disciplines of dance and musical theater/acting/voice for students in grades K-12. Qualified candidates must have at minimum 3 years prior experience with these age groups, (a degree in discipline is preferred), the ability to create lesson plans, to independently problem solve, to professionally represent ATMTC and have a positive friendly demeanor. 1099-IC contract. Per class remuneration between $25-$35 based on experience. Bi-annual contracts beginning in August through the end of May 2013.

PROFESSIONAL PLAYWRIGHTS/SCRIPTS:

BIRTHDAY PARTY HOSTS/HOSTESSES NEEDED:
ATMTC is looking for friendly people to work as birthday party hosts on Saturdays or Sundays. Responsibilities include setting up and cleaning up the birthday party room, greeting the parents and children, assisting the parents with the 1 hour birthday party, and escorting the party to and from the theatre. BIRTHDAY PARTY STAGE COMBAT/CHARACTER ACTORS NEEDED:
ATMTC is seeking qualified Stage Combat instructors, Dance instructors, and Princess Character Actors to lead one hour LightSaber Workshops, Dance Workshops, and Pretty Princess Birthday Parties. Parties are primarily scheduled on weekends during the day. $50 compensation for each booking. HOUSE MANAGERS NEEDED:
ATMTC seeks house managers.  House Managers will make sure the lobby and theater are in proper order before the show begins, between shows, and at the end of the day.  The House Manager will communicate with the Box Office and Stage Manager to determine when to open the house, help patrons find a seat in the general admission theatre, and make sure rows are reserved for special parties.  During the show, they will work with the Box Office and the Stage Manager to coordinate late seating.  Dress code is business casual. WEEKEND/EVENING FRONT DESK STAFF NEEDED:
ATMTC is looking for responsible, organized, and friendly individuals to work the ATMTC Academy front desk at Wintergreen Plaza on Saturdays, Sundays, and/or weekday evenings beginning August 2012. Responsibilities include: Ensuring the safety of the building and managing the front desk/lobby area during high volume class and weekend hours; Addressing immediate concerns and inquiries of all visitors and callers as able, and referring to appropriate personnel when necessary; Providing administrative support to ATMTC Administrative Managers and teaching artists as needed; and Helping with the promotion and sales of all Academy programs while onsite.
