Mini Play: Frozen, Thursdays, in Glen Echo Park

Join Elsa, The Snow Queen, her sister, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven as they explore the movie based on the famous story by Hans Christian Anderson , its characters, plotline and sequence; working together to create their own improvised theater piece! This class culminates in an informal performance that is guided by literature and created by our students.

Meet the Instructor

Danny Pushkin is a native Washingtonian and performer specializing in very physical theater. He is passionately engrossed in the study of ritual theater traditions and the cultural role of fools. In his other life Danny writes, directs, produces and performs in musicals and theater for young audiences. He is a Resident Artist at ATMTC, where he has appeared in over one dozen productions, including the Helen Hayes nominated production of Oliver!. Danny's puppet musical, Pascal’s Aquarium, was presented to critical acclaim at the Capital Fringe Festival.
