Be a part of the 30th Anniversary of ATMTC Student Ensembles
Founded in 1984, ATMTC Student Ensembles are elite intensive performance and training groups for motivated and talented musical theater students. Ensemble members train in basic musical theatre techniques and learn, perfect and perform song and dance numbers from the musical theater, pop, holiday and patriotic repertoire. These Student Ensembles bring their talent to VIP Events, community centers, senior facilities, holiday programs, street fairs, and venues throughout the DC Region, nationally and internationally. The Student Ensembles perform in Spotlight, a fully produced annual musical revue.
ATMTC Student Ensembles complement the National & State Fine Arts Standards of Learning, providing a challenging outlet for students to develop the skills necessary to be successful performers - including self-discipline, teamwork, problem solving, and self-confidence.
Ensembles students sometimes get the opportunity to participate in master classes, special Broadway and regional theatre auditions, backstage tours, meet-the-artists and special performances.
The Ensembles have performed with:
Alton Fitzgerald White, Broadway star
Clay Aiken- Broadway, TV and recording artist
Victor Borge- Internationally recognized, pianist and comedian
Barry Bostwick- Broadway, TV and Film star
David Foster- Grammy Award-Winning composer
Melba Moore- Broadway, TV and recording artist

Parent Testimonial: |
As the parents of a 10-year old daughter in ATMTC Ensembles, we feel so lucky to have such a wonderful group of talented teachers and directors at ATMTC who, through their heartfelt dedication and passion for their art, make it possible for our children to experience the joy of musical theatre. ATMTC Ensembles is such a special musical theatre program because it gives children of all ages from third through twelfth grade the opportunity to train for and perform in an impressive array of polished and beautifully choreographed shows throughout the year, including a performance on Adventure Theatre's stage with a Broadway star! Thanks to ATMTC, our children get to do what they love in an environment that is both fun and challenging, with a great group of friends. Thank you ATMTC for an amazing year!
