It is Christmastime! The perfect occasion for a hilarious and heartburning, uh, heartwarming holiday adventure of a Lump of Coal who wants to be an artist. Traditionally the dreaded stocking stuffer for children on the Naughty List, this Lump turns one child’s worst nightmare into a dream come true. This world premiere by Norman Allen will delight audiences young and old with its story of unlikely friendships and holiday miracles.

When James is sent by his conniving aunts to chop down their old fruit tree, he discovers a magic potion which results in a tremendous peach - and launches a journey of enormous proportions. Featuring a wickedly tuneful score by the TONY Award-nominated team of Pasek and Paul and a curiously quirky book by Timothy Allen McDonald.

Downloadable Study Guide – Lesson plan to connect your field trip to your work in the classroom.  Study guides will be available for the season at the beginning of the school year.

Having lunch after the show!

There is a large picnic area outside across from the theatre, as we are located inside a National Park.  The picnic area is located right next to a playground, so you can have lunch and play on the playground before getting back on the bus!

Our indoor rehearsal hall is sometimes available for a small rental fee after the show if you would like an indoor area for lunch.
