By purchasing a ticket for one of Adventure Theatre MTC’s (ATMTC) shows, you agree to the following policies:
Doors open for performances approximately ten to fifteen (10-15) minutes before performances begins. Seating for Professional Productions in Glen Echo Park is general admission. If you are bringing a group of five or more to the theatre, please arrive early so that the House Management Staff can do their best to seat your group together.
Note: ATMTC’s booked birthday parties have reserved seating in the theatre in Glen Echo.
The use of cameras, video equipment, phones and other recording devices is strictly prohibited at ATMTC during all performances.
Latecomers will be seated during appropriate pauses in the performance as a courtesy to other audience members and to ensure the safety of our performers. We do not repeat announcements or birthday party greetings to those who arrive late. If you arrive more than ten (10) minutes late you are not guaranteed a seat.
Children under the age of one (1) are admitted free of charge, but must sit in a family member’s lap. Strollers and car seats are not permitted in the theatre. All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
ATMTC does not permit food or beverage inside the theatre, even for our Pajama Parties or Special Events.
Tickets may be exchanged for another performance of the same title up to 48 hours (two-business days) before the performance you are scheduled to attend. If you are exchanging your tickets for a date earlier than listed on your ticket, simply contact the box office before the day you wish to attend. There will be a service charge for changing tickets. All exchanges are subject to availability and must be confirmed by phone. Ticket exchanges are not allowed for Group Ticket Sales of ten or more, further restrictions may apply according to the particular group contract. We do not accept ticket exchanges via e-mail. ATMTC does not offer credits for missed performances. There are no refunds.
If your schedule changes and you are unable to attend a performance for which you have tickets, you can either exchange your tickets according to our exchange policy listed above, give your tickets to a friend, or donate your tickets back to the theatre. If you choose to give your tickets to a friend, please make sure to give them your order number.
ATMTC Professional Productions are rarely canceled because of inclement weather. The decision to close Glen Echo Park is made by the National Park Service and The Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture. Because this decision is not at our discretion it is not possible for us to refund tickets. If a performance is canceled, we humbly ask that patrons consider donating the cost of their tickets back to the theatre for which you will receive a tax-deduction receipt for the full ticket cost less any service fees. If we are able to add a performance to make up for the canceled show, we will move your tickets to that date. There are no refunds. Thank you for understanding.
During our ASL Interpreted performances and our Autism/Sensory-Friendly performances, we allow patrons to express themselves aloud. During all other performances, please be courteous to others. If your children become upset, please exit the theatre quietly into our lobby until they can calmly reenter. If you feel as though your children are too upset to finish watching the performance and you choose to leave early, all ticketing policies still apply.
All tickets purchased will be held at Will Call and will be available for pick-up starting one hour before the performance for which you have tickets. We will not send anything through the mail and tickets cannot be picked up prior to one hour before your selected performance.
ATMTC offers wheelchair accessible seating for each performance. If you or anyone in your party requires this, we ask that you please notify the Box Office for arrangements.
When discounts are available, they cannot be applied to an order retroactively and cannot be combined with any other discounts including group discounts.
