Open Call Actor Auditions 2026 for ATMTC & Keegan Theatre

ADULT OPEN CALL

DATE: SATURDAY, APRIL 11, 2026 / 11am – 4pm

SIGN-UPS for time slots will begin promptly at 10am. Please bring a stapled headshot & resume.

PREPARE: 32 bars of a musical theatre song that showcases you OR a one-minute monologue. An accompanist will be provided.

ADVENTURE THEATRE MTC SEEKING: Actors for our upcoming 2026-2027 season which will include 2 musicals, 2 plays (One World Premiere), and a holiday tradition Frosty The Snow Man. All roles are paid. Be on the lookout for our season announcement in May 2026.

THE KEEGAN THEATRE SEEKING: Actors for our upcoming 2026-2027 season which will include 2 musicals, 4 plays, and our holiday tradition An Irish Carol. All roles are paid. Be on the lookout for our season announcement in the new few months.

KIDS OPEN CALL

Be seen by professional casting directors from the Washington, DC area theatres at Adventure Theatre MTC’s 12th Annual Kids Open Call Audition! 

SUNDAY, APRIL 12, 2025 / 11am-4pm

LOCATION: Adventure Theatre MTC Academy

PRIOR TO REGISTERING: Please note that this is a professional commitment. Do not sign up unless you will make every effort to attend. You must arrive ten minutes prior to your time slot. If you are not there on time, your slot will be given to our waitlist actors.

PREPARE: Bring a 32 bar cut (approximately 1 minute) of a song of your choice in the correct key that shows your personality and vocal range OR prepare a 1-minute monologue that also shows your personality and acting range. Please also bring a headshot and resume. If you do not have a headshot and resume, see our workshop below.

For Songs: You may sing a capella (without music). Do not bring recorded tracks or pre-recorded accompaniment. If you choose to prepare accompaniment, your music must be in a 3-ring binder.

MORE INFO: In the past, children have been cast at Keegan Theatre, Washington National Opera, Studio Theater, Arena Stage, Ford’s Theater, Olney Theater Center, Next Stop Theatre, Creative Cauldron, Woolly Mammoth Theatre, Studio Theatre, and several film and TV projects.
