Let us transport you back to the summer of 1959, greaser Danny Zuko and wholesome Sandy Dumbrowski enjoy a sweet summer romance and part ways believing they will never meet again. When Sandy unexpectedly enrols at Rydell High and reunites with Danny! . Bursting with rock ’n’ roll energy and iconic songs like “Greased Lightnin’,” “Summer Nights,” and “We Go Together,” GREASE has remained one of the world’s most popular and enduring musicals and an exuberant celebration of young love, teenage rebellion, and the electrifying spirit of the 1950s.

MEET THE DIRECTOR/CHOREOGRAPHER:

Bryan Stopak (he/him) Director/Choreographer A graduate of The University of the Arts with a BFA in Directing, Playwriting, and Production Design Bryan has worked extensively in movement, production, and design across regional theaters nationwide. As a performer, Bryan has appeared most recently at Olney Theatre Center in Little Miss Perfect, Too Wong Foo, and Senior Class. Adventure Theatre; Not Your Mother‘s Goose [Helen Hayes award winner] The Lightning Thief, Dragons Love Tacos, Aesop Fables. Tobys Dinner Theatre; Mean Girls, A Chorus Line, Beauty and the Beast. Beyond on the stage he has choreographed numerous musicals throughout the DMV including being a featured choreographer at the Capital Fringe Festival for LIFE! A Comedic Opera in Three Acts. His creative influence extends in to the educational realm including several educational theaters and schools in the DMV.
